Who we are
Splitklips started over 15 years ago as a brother-and-sister duo with a shared love for storytelling and getting things done right. Today, while our team expands and adapts based on each project’s scope, Karim and Leila remain at the heart of it all.
Leila is the organized one, handling the books, budgets, and operations with calm precision. She makes sure the business runs smoothly so the creative work can shine.
Karim is the storyteller, a director, shooter, and editor whose work has taken him across five continents, from documentaries to TV series, award-winning short films, and youth programming. His experience behind the camera and passion for meaningful stories fuel everything we do.
Together, Karim and Leila run Splitklips as a tight yet flexible production house, delivering big results with a small, dedicated team.
